SEN information report

At Clowne Junior School we make it our upmost importance in ensuring we meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. We are supported by all our staff, governors and Local Authority in ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their specific need, make the best possible progress in school.

We are an inclusive setting, where the needs of those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are met in a mainstream setting wherever possible.

The four broad ‘areas of need’ within our school, focus upon:

  1. Communication and Interaction
  2. Cognition and Learning,
  3. Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
  4. Sensory and Physical Needs

As a school, we have put together 13 common questions that we, as teachers, are frequently asked, to answer any queries or concerns you may have relating to Special Educational Needs.
