If we ruled the world

As part of our democracy week in school, we wrote speeches detailing what we would change if we had the opportunity to govern the world.

This blog has been set up to allow us to ‘submit’ our manifestos for others to comment on. Please take the time to read the speeches that have been submitted and feel free to comment.

All comments will be moderated before being made ‘live’.

Thanks

The leaders of the future!

Note to children submitting speeches – Please only put your first name and your year group when submitting.

    If I ruled the world I would make sure everyone has food, water and a house to live in. I would make sure everyone is loved because that then means that you have a family and friends. I would make sure that all the children have parents so the children can have food and a bed, I would make sure no one would die so no one would get upset.

    That is the end off my speech I hope you liked it.

    if i kayleigh, was to be ruler of the world then these are the changes i would make:

    If anyone was to be caught hunting any type of endanjered animal the that person would be sent to a very srict school were they will punished, to make sure this rule is enforced there will be a STOP HUNTING officer.

    Also food and fresh clean water would be shipped off to Affrica daily. To help all those who are struggling.

    And all children probably will agree that homework is boring so i would maximize this and only would allow 1 sheet of numracy and 1 sheet of english each week.

    i could make this happen if u voted for me thank you.

    I have a dream of a world:
    Where everyone has a warm bed to sleep in;
    Where everyone has enough food and water to keep them alive;
    Where children aren’t rummaging through dirty, harmful rubbish just for tiny pieces of metal;
    Where everybody is kind there isn’t one unkind person in the universe;
    Where every single person has a friend;
    The world will be full of KINDNESS.

    Changes I would make to the world

    1, I would build more school, in different countries, so that every child gets the education that they deserve. This is because many children in other countries, especially girls, WANT an education but can’t get one as their parents cannot afford it.
    2, I would build at least another 3 homeless shelters in each major city, in order for everyone to have a springy bed to sleep in. Many homeless people haven’t done anything wrong at all-but they get judged with a bad impression stamped all over them.
    3, In school if there is the slightest bit of bullying the child will be put into isolation for break times for 6 weeks. This will teach that child it is very wrong to bully. They will also go on an anti-bulling course so they definitely know it is wrong.
    Those are the changes I would make.

    Imagine if I could rule the world.If I rule the world I would have a park in every village that dosen’t have glass,rubbish or graffiti.Hunters shouldn’t be killing endangered animals for medicaine that dosen,t work.Also, for decorations.Pleasecan you stop this hurting animals.People shouldn’t be throwing their food when there are other people who are staving .Please can you stop chucking your food away.Please think of the other people with no homes or water also no food so I am going to stop this horrible thing.I think that in different countries we shouldn’t be paying to go to hospital like us if we are poorly we don’t need to pay.

    I want to live in a world where whispering is banned otherwise it upsets people.I want to live in a world where it is sunny and blue sky everyday so we can go outside more often.I want to live in a world where everyone is rich so they can afford to same things.I want to live in a world where it will be a litter free world so our country is clean. I want to live in a world where no shouting is aloud.I want to live in a world where people can be unlocked away from speaking their emotions.
    This is what I think so that you for listening

    If i was president of the world i would………
    Firstly i would give the people with out water a right to have water with out our help thirsty children and adults are dying.
    Secondly people with out a home should be able to go to a nice home for free for 10 hole years until they get a job and monney to pay for there own home i want to change the way people treet the home less and they walk past them like they are invisable and that is not right
    however all children under the age of 4 should go to a littlel class to prepare for infant school insted of going to nursery just to play and do nursery rimes they should teach them how to count to 10 or 20
    last of all it is your demcratic right to change the bad things we have done and help the home less or peolple who need it the most

    If I could rule the world I would make sure everyone was treated equal and no one would get bullied then no one will get hurt in a emotional way. I believe that if we had more control over the children , less people would get bullied and if people didn’t leave others out of a game or team. Also If pupils didn’t they are bigger and better and possibly smarter they wont be many quarrels . I had a dream that everyone had the same amount of money including kids so no one was poor , rich just in the middle.

    Equal , Fare , Bullies and life .

    Imagine the world without hunger. If you vote for me you could stop hungry children going home with empty tummies. Not all people respect their food and many throw much of their dinner away. I could send trucks that contain vegetables and seeds so that people can grow their own food to eat. You can make people happy!

    Is it right that some people have to walk miles just to get a sip of water in the desert sun? Thirsty people die everyday from drinking water that is full of parasites, animal dung and dirt. You don’t realise this because all you have to do is flick a switch and you get clean and healthy water. You could vote for me and I could buy water pumps for each village and town that needs one.

    You must agree that not many girls in some countries have an education. 1 in 3 people in India doesn’t have an education and many Indian girls can’t read or write. I will provide schools for these children if you vote for me.

    I can sort this out!

      This is a fabulous piece of writing Olivia. You have clearly put a great deal of thought into your ideas and ways in which to get your points across.

      I agree with all that you have written. The world would certainly be a much happier place to live with you in charge.

      You’ve got my vote!
