The Aims Of Our School

 

To set high and challenging standards of attainment so that each child can achieve his or her potential in a hardworking environment.

                                                

To provide a caring and happy environment to which everyone can give of his or her best.

 

To help develop a pride and sense of belonging to Clowne Junior School.

 

To encourage children to develop self-discipline and a sense of responsibility and care for others.

 

To help children use language effectively and imaginatively in reading, writing and speaking.

 

To provide a sound basis of mathematical, scientific and technical knowledge.

 

For the children to develop respect for moral values and tolerance of gender, other races, religions and ways of life so that they are prepared for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.

 

To help children to develop lively, enquiring minds, the ability to question, argue rationally and apply themselves to the task in hand.

 

To encourage a positive interactive partnership between home and school.
